Sarah Bridge, MD is a 3rd year Emergency Medicine resident at the University of Virginia. She completed medical school at the University of Utah and spent a year working in Mbarara, Uganda as a Doris Duke International Clinical Research Fellow from 2016-2017, where she worked on a cryptococcal meningitis clinical trial with researchers from the University of Minnesota. She has also worked on global health projects in central America and India. Her interests include rural medicine, wilderness medicine, clinical research, ethics, resident wellness, medical education, pediatrics, migrant and refugee health, and critical care. She hopes to work for the Indian Health Services in the American southwest after residency.
